Ratatouille is named after
a French vegetable stew, and a more appropriate name can’t be find. Ratatouille
is the story of an aspiring chef named Remy (Patton Oswalt) who wants to
be the best chef in Paris. This movie’s written and
directed by Brad Bird and displaying the usual meticulousness associated with
the Pixar brand, distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, and release date June 29, 2007 at Los Angeles.
The main character of Ratatouille is
Patton Oswalt as Remy, a rat who strives to serve a grander purpose in life,
Lou Romano as Alfredo Linguini, the son of Auguste Gusteau, Janeane Garofalo as
Colette Tatou, the feminist chef and Linguini’s love interest is acerbic and
very funny, Peter O'Toole as Anton Ego, a restaurant critic, Brad Garrett as
Auguste Gusteau, The once greatest chef in France, Ian Holm as Skinner. He
greed and ambition through a most realistic French accen, Brian Dennehy as
Django, the father of Remy and Emile, Peter Sohn as Emile, Remy's younger
brother and also thief.
A rat name
Remy dreams to be a great French chef,
and then he meet Linguini who is the Auguste Gusteau’s son.
They start cook use
linguini with Remy on head Linguini. Remy
pull Linguini hair to drive him like puppet. And
then they try and try again, Remy and Linguini habitually
cook like this. After
that, they are famous because Linguini can make delicious food with name Linguini special food because of Remy. But
fame is not alwayz on top,
Rremy jealous because linguini fame, not Remy the real cheaf
who cook the food, Remy run away and leave Linguini alone, because Remy disappear Linguini confuse how he can cook without he little cheaf Remy. One night Anton Ego’s the criticus came to Linguini restaurant who want taste the Linguini special food, now linguini really confuse what can he
do
it, but
he pray the little cheaf Remy come
back. After open the door, there is Remy with rat family, they start cook, linguini start serve using
roller shoes
and Remy start cook for Anton Ego with country food name Ratatouile, Remy is very caution make the food. After the food finish, Linguini give it to Ego. Ego feel like he back to he childhood and eat the ratatouile
like hunger man. Ego want meet who make the food, but Linguini say he will show the cheaf after the restaurant
close, Ego wait and Linguini show
the cheaf and the kitchen with a lot of rat. Ego out, and The health
inspector came to kitchen and see a lot of rat as a result. Next, Gusteau's
restaurant is shut down, Ego quit from his job and to be rat infested restaurant. Remy, telling this story
to a few friends, Ego
is now working as a small business investor. He
has open a bistro name "La Ratatouille" where both humans and rats
are both welcome.
This film begins strange scene and ends as a wonderful of animation, comedy,
imagination and humanity. What is most
lovable about Remy is his modesty and shyness, even for a rat. He has body
language so expressive than many humans cheaf. there are a few scenes which are simply brilliant from a
story telling point of view. One of them is the first time Remy tastes some
mushroom with cheese and herbs. The screen behind him darkens and there is a
cascade of fireworks in the background to show the audience through his
synesthetic experience just how much he enjoyed that bite. Another inspired
scene is when Anton Ego first tastes the ratatouille that Remy prepares for
him.
I think this film animation is
very inspiring me, and the scene
movie is fantastic, this movie teach
us to never give up, keep try, and etc. The animasi is wonderful and i really
like this movie.
